Tiverton Almshouse Trust is looking for 2 volunteer Directors to join our Board with specific experience in Strategic Finance or Health & Social Care.

We are a registered charity and social landlord and have been providing high quality independent living at our three sites in Tiverton for over 500 years. There are 83 high-quality Almshouse occupied by 90 residents. Our properties are for people over the age of 60, specifically experiencing financial, housing, or social needs, who would benefit from the support of a warden and an emergency call system.

The Trust is led by the Chief Executive alongside a team of 9 and governed by a Board of 10 Volunteer Directors who meet four times a year. Additional attendance at sub-committee meetings is also required. We are currently reviewing the days / timings of these meetings/committees to be as flexible as we can around busy lives!
