About the Trust
Tiverton Almshouse Trust provides warden-controlled residential accommodation for local people in need. We aim to provide suitable, well maintained, affordable, safe and secure housing to independent people aged 60 and over, who have lived in Tiverton or its environs for at least two years prior to application.
As our residents get older more support is often required and we pride ourselves in meeting their needs for as long as we can. The Trust is unable to offer personal care but we can help to ensure residents and families can access appropriate assistance from the various services provided by care providers and relevant support agencies.
We have 83 almshouses and most of them are located on two sites in Tiverton:
